What can you expect from your two years at Lund University?

Preparing to come

There are, of course, a number of things to take care of before you arrive in Lund. All admitted students are sent a pre-arrival guide before the start of the semester.

Redidence permits

In general, all students from countries outside the EU/EEA need to have a residence permit to study in Sweden if they are planning on staying for more than three months.

Money and living costs

Before you arrive in Lund, you need to make sure that you have sufficient funds to cover both tuition fees and your living expenses.

Health and insurance

All incoming students at Lund University Sweden are covered by either Student IN or FAS+.


Lund University offers a housing guarantee to certain international student groups - as a student within The Denver-Lund Study Abroad Programme you are included in this guarantee.

Lund University is well known for its unique student life and fantastic campus atmosphere. The variety of student organisations, including the famous 'nations' of Lund, provides excellent opportunities for you to experience student life and to join in student events.
